Wish upon a Star

I had the opportunity to spend a few days in the Serra da Estrela in preparation for a photo tour, I am organizing! For the last day I had planned to photograph the tower, the highest point in mainland Portugal. With blue skies, no clouds made this session a bit frustrating! However, I decided to dine by those structures and wait for nightfall, because if it would be good for something, it would see the stars!

As the light dwindled, the Milky Way becomes very visible and without thinking twice, I set up the material and took this picture! It marks my first attempt at this kind of photography! Of course, the shooting star in the upper top of the image was the icing on the cake.

Tive a oportunidade de passar uns dias na Serra da Estrela em preparação para um passeio fotográfico que vou realizar em breve! Para o ultimo dia tinha planeado fotografar a Torre, o ponto mais alto de Portugal Continental. Céu azul, sem qualquer indício de nuvens tornou esta sessão um pouco frustrante! No entanto resolvi jantar junto aquelas estruturas e esperar pelo anoitecer, pois se seria bom para alguma coisa, seria certamente para ver as estrelas!

Há medida que a luz ia diminuindo, a Via Láctea tornou-se muito visível e sem pensar duas vezes, montei o material e tirei esta foto! Marca a minha primeira tentativa neste tipo de fotografia! É claro que a estrela cadente no topo superior da imagem foi a cereja no topo do bolo.
